Before winning the 2007 season of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Jon Reep would watch the show and wonder where the contestants came from. Reep said he never considered it as a viable career until he attended North Carolina State University. An average student, he declared theater and speech as his major, believing if the jocks could do it, it must be easy.
