Significant Changes Coming to Insurance Options
Be prepared to consider fewer options this fall during annual benefits enrollment, now that the State Health Plan has decided to eliminated one of three insurance options and make significant changes to several other programs.
Use Those Community Service Hours
All SHRA and EHRA employees who work at least 20 hours per week are allotted up to 24 hours for volunteer activities, or one hour a week (up to 36 hours annually) for mentoring/tutoring in a school-affiliated program for “at-risk” students or five hours a month (up to 45 hours annually) for participation in a public school literacy program.
Extra Leave Approved for Hurricane-Affected Employees
Faculty and staff who endured substantial damage or total loss of their primary residence can apply for up to 80 hours of management-approved leave. The deadline to submit applications for this leave is Dec. 31.
Volunteer to Be Wellness Champion
Want to help your colleagues be more dedicated to a healthy work environment? Volunteer to be a Wellness Champion in the Well Wolfpack program. Applications are open until July 1.
Time to Make Your Benefit Picks
