It’s National Eating Healthy Day

NC State University Dining invites us to celebrate the American Heart Association’s official National Eating Healthy Day on Wednesday, Nov. 7th. Here’s how to participate:

  • Enjoy healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean meat and whole grains.
  • Try healthy meals at the dining halls such as fruit bar, steamed carrots, broccoli, fresh salad bar and sugar snap peas.
  • Choose widely at the vending machines and C-Stores. Bypass high-sugar and high-fat choices — look instead for Wolf Approved items which are low in fat and sugar.
  • Begin walking regularly by using maps of NC State campus and track your exercise using MyFitnessPal
