Dr. Yong Zhu, assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, has received the 2012 Sigma Xi Faculty Research Award from NC State’s chapter of Sigma Xi.
The newly created green space next to the Talley Student Center will be named the Thomas H. Stafford Jr. Commons in recognition of Stafford's years of service to the university.
