Moore Named 2017 ACC Coach of Year

NC State women's basketball coach Wes Moore was named the ACC Coach of the Year by the league's blue ribbon panel, the first time in the 34 years of the award that it has been claimed by a Wolfpack coach.

Longtime Voice of NC State Dies at 91

C.A. Dillon, a 1947 NC State graduate, served as the public address announcer for NC State men's basketball for 53 years, covering seven head coaches and four different arenas. He was also a member of the NC State Board of Trustees.

Starting offensive guard Joe Thuney and reserve quarterback Jacoby Brissett both earned their degrees from NC State before heading off to play for the NFL's New England Patriots. Sunday, the two rookies hope to help their team win Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons in Houston.

Veteran Golf Coach Sykes to Retire

After 46 years at NC State, Hall of Fame golf coach and four-time ACC Coach of the Year Richard Sykes will step down at the end of the 2017 season. Sykes, an NC State alum, is the longest serving member of the athletics department.

Charles Kahn, a two-time graduate of NC State and a former professor in the College of Design, is one of the three engineers and architects credited with the design of NC State's Carter-Finley Stadium.
