White House Lauds Juntos Program

An NC State program to empower Hispanic youth was named a “Bright Spot in Hispanic Education” by the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics. Since 2007, the North Carolina Cooperative Extension program called "Juntos" has helped close the achievement gap for Hispanic Youth in North Carolina and has been expanded into other states.
