SBP Andy Walsh: Wolfstock Concert Series

The Wolfstock Concert Series is finally here!

We are proud to announce the unveiling of the new Wolfstock Concert Series. For the first time students can access all of the music offerings that take place throughout the year on one centralized calendar. The Wolfstock Concert Series was created as a collaborative effort with the UAB, Arts NC State, 88.1 WKNC and Student Government. It is our hope that students take advantage of this new centralized resource and will attend many of the great music offerings at NC State!

There are nineteen concerts in the fall series to get excited about this semester. During the summer months Student Government, UAB, 88.1 WKNC and Arts N.C. State decided to consolidate their concert schedules to give the student body a complete listing of performances on campus.

The first event is Arts NOW on September 18, at 7 p.m. in the Kennedy Mcllwee Studio Theatre. In addition, looking at calendar you’ll see four Wolfpack symbols. Those spirit-loaded bullets designate this semester’s headlining concerts so you don’t miss anything big. Some events have a small ticket fee, as well, so make sure you check before you go.

If you were around when Andy Walsh was campaigning this past spring for Student Body President then you might remember that this series was a major platform goal for his administration. We hope that you’ll enjoy the music on campus this semester when you’re, of course, taking a break from studying! If you have any questions for Andy about the Concert Series please email him at sbp@ncsu.edu.

Stay in touch with us on Facebook and Twitter (@NCSUStudentGov) for updates on Campout and everything else we have in store for the year!

In the spirit of the Wolfpack,

The Walsh Administration – J.B.
