Prior to next Saturday’s annual Kay Yow Spring Football Game, faculty and staff are invited to a free pregame tailgate event at Carter-Finley Stadium.
Registration is required at this link, but each employee will admitted free with up to three guests. Additional tickets for food can be purchased for $5 at the event for up to four more guests.
The appreciation event begins at 11 a.m., followed by the 1 p.m. spring game, which will feature an intrasquad scrimmage by the Wolfpack football team. A $1 donation, which will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, is suggested at the game from each spectator.
During the game, an on-field survivor celebration will recognize cancer survivors. After the game, fans can meet their favorite players for photos and autographs.
Schedule of events
- 11 a.m.: Fan Zone opens with games, kids activities, free posters, Mr. & Ms. Wolf, etc.
- 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Staff an faculty appreciation event with barbecue and family activities
- 1 p.m.: Kay Yow Spring Football Game
- 7 p.m.: Carolina Hurricanes vs. Tampa Bay- Staff and Faculty can purchase tickets up to 50% off box office price for this game. Purchase discounted tickets.
