Is Tailgating Toxic?

Last year, NC State researchers monitored air pollution outside Carter-Finley Stadium before, during and after all six home football games. They concluded that the mix of burning charcoal, fumes from generators and idling cars created an unhealthy atmosphere for those sensitive to poor air quality.
